There are twice the number of Christians in Quatar compared to Israel. Maybe he was just going to speak to his audience-

It's not odd when you understand the dispensationalists view that the reestablishment of the modern state of Israel (in 1948) as a partial fulfillment of biblical prophecies.

I don't know about you guys but I am so sick and damn tired of hearing about religion every second of the day. I wish this country could treat religion like sports - "oh you are a Tennessee fan? I hate Tennessee but it doesn't mean I want to kill you for being a Tennessee fan"
This analogy doesn’t make a lot of sense. Sports teams all pretty much agree to play under a set of common rules. Religions not so much.

That is the way of the western world.
Imagine a big circle with a small dot in the middle. In the west, the circle is all of your life experience, with your religion as the dot - lot of space left that can incorporate things that make up your life. In Muslim countries, everything revolves around Islam, so the model is inverted: you are the dot and the circle is Islam.
A fundamental understanding of this concept answers a bunch of questions about immigrant assimilation, cultural pockets in major cities, etc.

There is only one fanbase that wants to go as far as killing.

I watched one recently with Matt Walsh. Tucker talked at length with him about basic tenants of decency in general and how it relates to politics. He then turned it on him and asked Walsh if it was a bad thing that so many children were dying in Gaza. It was funny in a clever way, but not funny seeing Walsh dance around the subject.
