Trump never said they'd enforce the curfew against protesters, just those who were causing trouble.
So, pretty much like it was without a curfew?
Why even "mobilize" LEO for a 7:00 PM curfew in DC if that's not what it is? These are his remarks mind you. Trump's. Not mine. He talked about 7:00 PM. Did he just say the word curfew knowing it's not? And we think that's a good tactic how? How on Earth does that help?

I'll post the direct quote here since you didn't get it the first time around apparently:
quote:
As we speak, I am dispatching thousands and thousands of heavily armed soldiers, military personnel, and law enforcement offices to stop the rioting, looting, vandalism assaults and the wanton destruction of property. We are putting everybody on warning our seven o’clock curfew will be strictly enforced. Those who threatened innocent life and property will be arrested, detained and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Notice it never says that regular protesters will be arrested.

Would it help everyone here if I find and post his actual Rose Garden remarks today? Is that the deal?
Hell, I thought a 7:00 curfew was great. Clear it all out and avoid anyone having the opportunity to destroy DC's history. Pretty shocked many of you think it's fine not to act on it. To actually do what he said. Crazy times.

Hey retard. The Mayor of DC instructed the curfew
After three nights of clashes between protesters and law enforcement in the wake of nationwide protests over the killing George Floyd, officials in Washington on Monday braced for more unrest in the nation’s capital. D.C. Mayor Muriel E. Bowser (D) announced another curfew for Monday night and said her administration has been in contact with federal government officials.
Protesters began gathering across the District in the afternoon, including near the White House.
Shortly before the 7 p.m. curfew went into place and moments before President Trump began speaking at the White House, police fired flash-bang shells, gas and rubber bullets into a crowd of protesters outside of Lafayette Square.
In some protests, local officials say white instigators are causing mayhem
Trump said he was taking “swift and decisive action to protect our great capital, Washington, D.C. What happened last night was a total disgrace. As we speak, I am dispatching thousands and thousands of heavily armed soldiers, military personnel and law enforcement officers to stop the rioting, looting, vandalism, assaults and the wanton destruction of property. We are putting everybody on warning, our 7 o’clock curfew will be strictly enforced.”
Here’s what you need to know:
• With 20 minutes left until the District’s 7 p.m. curfew, authorities set off a series of explosions in the middle of a crowd in Lafayette Square, some landing right at protesters’ feet, before forcing demonstrators from the park. President Trump later walked across the area to visit historic St. John’s Episcopal Church, which was damaged in a fire set Sunday.
Episcopal bishop on Trump: ‘Everything he has said and done is to inflame violence’
• Bowser strongly criticized the move by federal authorities to forcefully clear the area around Lafayette Square, saying the actions will make the job of D.C. police officers more difficult.
• After curfew, police began sealing off street after street to surround and arrest protesters in the downtown areas.

They were posted in the post directly before yours. Perhaps it would help everyone if you read that post.

Let me guess. This is just a semantics thing by Trump. Curfew enforcement wasn't at all what he meant when he said it. Just a clear misspeak on his part.

Well no shite! That's what I've asked for since page 1!
So, curfew at 7:00 isn't a curfew until some POS breaks a window? And he/them are arrested? WTF?

Now you are just being stupid. Well... not just now... perhaps still being stupid would be a better choice of words.

He said exactly what he meant.
You just edited that part out, do you work for CNN by chance?

Look at my post. They started arresting people 22 minutes after the curfew.
Dude just throw in the towel and go to bed.
You’ve gotten your arse kicked tonight

1. Trump didnt order this curfew.
2. Curfews haven't been 100% enforced through any of this because its impossible

Wouldn't you think after 3:23 mins that his thousands in DC he said were mobilized to "strictly enforce" it would have resulted in - at minimum - an updated Tweet since 7:22 PM? For real 08?

So his words in your very own quote were bullshite. Just as I stated on page 1. Didn't mean "A God Damned Thing". Anyone simply want to crawfish in and admit that besides you?
