I’ve posted that gif over a dozen times for your favorite catch phrase. Clearly you don’t get the reference. figures.

I thought we put tariffs on pretty much all imports?

Can't be. You see if he were, he'd be ecstatic that jobs, regardless of wage rate, would develop within the US so as to increase taxable revenues to ensure his government pay check. At least one might think that.

Many are. Some are not. It varies by product and market.

I buy industrial products and raw materials from countries all over the world on a daily basis.

Tariffs are paid by importers.

US companies.

As I have said multiple times, some do and some do not. Many foreign companies absorb the tariff and do not pass it along to the importer or consumer. It depends on many variables - product, market, company, country, etc.

I bought an item from China just yesterday. The pricing was the same as it was a year ago, despite the added tariffs. The company knows that they don't have any room to increase pricing in a competitive market. Other products the tariff is added as a separate line item.

You obviously know nothing about this topic.

Yet, youre guessing at who absorbed the cost.

He is the importer and didn’t absorb the cost. Not much to guess, dummy.
