We were in St. Mary’s, Ga. for a week in May of 2020. Drove into Amelia Island and Fernandina beach several of those days. The check points started the exit after Amelia Island exit so it never affected me. Lol

Not at all. I thought it was fricked then and still think it was fricked. I just thought it was hilarious that I was able to enjoy my vacation around his stupid Nazi checkpoint.

Desantis banned people from Louisiana at the start of Covid which was a knee jerk over zealous reaction. Will he over react that way again in response to another issue down the line?

CDC and the Feds placed very strict phases over all states, remember Phase 1, 2, 3? The sooner Florida got through one phase then it could enter the next. Florida is a very populous state, much different than its surrounding neighbors especially Louisiana run by a Down's syndrome looking imbecile. Call Desantis' move whatever you want (overzealous etc), but he came out of it looking like a fvcking leader amongst boys. Again, there were phases mandated. Context please, tell both sides of the story.

Not True. The FEDs had zero power over any state. Period.

DeSantis literally WENT to the WH to talk to Trump about Reopening.

Anybody going after Trump over Covid will absolutely bury DeSantis in fire.

Yep HHTM is nothing more than a communist wearing RINO clothing. Wants Trump arrested just so he can not run.

The only state DeSantis would beat Trump head to head is Florida.

Trump is such a caricature.

+2

a) Playing the "loyalty" card is a Red Flag and bad play. It's purposely confrontational & divisive -- which our side cannot afford.

b) Trump needed to become more Statesman-like if anything; Instead he seems to be doubling down on the usual "Entertainer" schtick. There are signs he's jumping the shark. (Something is NOT right about this version of him.)

Desantis and Kemp dragged their nuts across Trump’s face on Covid.

Of course Swampy Don is trying to rewrite history. Next he’ll claim he fired Fauci.

Next he'll probably warn us that DeSantis will hire John Bolton, Bill Barr, Mike Pence & Rex Tillerson while cozying up to Lindsey Graham and handing out endorsements to Mitch McConnell, Ronna McDaniel, Kevin McCarthy and Mitt Romney.

OUCH.

Sir, the US Constitution states/swears by it.

If the Feds had control, explain South Dakota.

you can't, because the Feds did not have control. The States elected officials did. The Governor.

Noem never issued any statewide lockdowns or business closures.

Trump pimped Warp Speed from the get-go and questioned governors coming out of lockdown.

WARP SPEED. I don't know how Trump claws his way out of all the boasting over "credit" for a vaxx that is proven to be poison. And incredibly STILL he backs & believes in these vaxxes (but never opposed the forced coercion.)

Then yes, there was is Lockdown-Everything position & policies.

And...His pro-Feral over-officiousness during Fauci's "executive" decider-maker crowning; And his handing over bogus "Emergency" take-over of Executive reigns and power to FEMA during during the Nightmare that became 2020-2023+.

Would a "President" Trump again declare a lockdown "Emergency" over the drop of a hat?

Would not. Will not... EVER trust this man again to do battle for us.

That’s too kind.

It WAS an example of authoritarian overreach.

The re-writing of history to suit narratives is astounding to see in real time. It’s amazing.
