There's no such thing as an "impeachable offense". It could be completely subjective if they wanted Trump out bad enough and the votes were there.

Legal immigrants view illegals the same way normal people view rapists.

There is a right way and a wrong way to get what you want. A legal way and an illegal way. Race and skin color have nothing to do with it.

If you have never lived in an Hispanic community you really have no clue what you are talking about.

Trump will be just fine.

The most hilarious case of reaching for something, anything to make a case for impeachment. It's good for a decent laugh.

The GOP will never, ever, ever impeach Trump....even if he commits an egregious impeachable offense. Both parties are more important to party leaders than the nation.....it will never happen.

Now...if democrats miraculously win both houses.....as unlikely as the GOP impeaching Trump.....then he is toast.

Russia also is not enough for the dens to win the house or the whitehouse in 2020...... No matter how much shite comes out......Republican voters do not care and dens won't turn out to vote.

Well, I mean...they would lose the party forever.

That would be career suicide.

Despite these idiot Republicans posting nonsense to appeal across the aisle, they fail in polls when they denigrate Trump.

The pardon of Arpaio plainly falls within this core conception of properly impeachable offenses.

It is an impeachable offense precisely because it involves the exercise of a constitutionally created presidential power.

The use of the pardon power in this case is a direct assault on core constitutional rights, statutory civil rights laws of the United States, and the authority of courts to enforce those laws.

It therefore threatens constitutional civil liberties generally, as well as the viability of congressionally authorized statutory law, and it is a direct attack on the constitutional powers of the judiciary as a coordinate branch of government.

Accordingly, this pardon threatens to undercut one of the indispensable, foundational norms of American constitutional order: the rule of law.

The bold is ridiculous.

The courts have NEVER had the power of enforcement.

They have always been the weakest branch of government because they have neither the power of the purse nor the power of the sword.

Why are people acting like Trump is the first president to pardon someone?

Because it sure as hell seems that way with this "overturning the rule of law" bullshite arguments.

Is there anything he does that isn't an impeachable offense?

The answer is no. Literally, anything that Trump does can be an impeachable offense. He could wear the wrong color shirt and Congress could decide to impeach him. Impeachment is a political decision, not a criminal one. Congress just has to lose faith in him in his ability to lead. This is why when Trump shite talks congress like he's done with McConnell and Paul Ryan, it may not have been the best idea.

After all, Article II Section 2 of the Constitution gives a president effectively unlimited power to pardon anyone (possibly even including himself) for any federal crime except impeachable offenses.

I quit reading right here because it actually was the end of the story.

Absolutely.

It is only a matter of political will.

If you go by the logic of his last paragraphs, every president who uses any powers outside of the constitution should be impeached.

Must be sore with all that reaching!

To the loony Left President Trump winning the election was an impeachable offense.

They're idiots. Who cares what they think.
