What I seem to have noticed happen was goalposts were re-situated to demand proof of statewide lockdowns. Lol. But I’m with you on this.

I don’t see anything about statewide (that you were requesting proof of). Only shutdowns in his state. And hell, even if that is what JJ meant, you don’t come across any better by trying to avert the fact that he did indeed use his executive powers to order various shutdown of commerce and freedom of movement in his state.

But at some point, we get to reality and what actually happened. And what actually happened is people from other states were overrunning Florida because we weren't locked down and were free to travel around the state.

Dude I don’t care what people from Florida say happened as they perceived it. It’s the 2020’s…..we all have easy access to see what was happening in every state ourselves. You can redefine the matter however you want, but the actual truth and facts are that Desantis ordered shutdowns within his state, and I couldn’t care less about the reasons why. Every governor had some stated reason why they did what they did.
