Are people really that susceptible to propaganda that they will forget something as soon as five whole years ago?
These retards were praising Trumps economy when in fact it didnt meet goals and required fed intervention.
But they seem to relish in ignorance.

Put a realistic timeline on Trump's plan for bringing manufacturering here. I don't see how it will play out as he wishes.
It won't happen overnight no doubt but there will be positive signs that suggest his strategy is working as was the case in his first term.
Over time these companies that have moved manufacturing to China will realize that dealing with Communist China is not worth the risk.

We evolved beyond basic mfg decades ago.
Move it to Mexico, you'll solve your perceived China problem (though its already dying) and some of your immigration issues.
Your brilliant strategy is to continue to be dependent on foreign countries, countries controlled by communists and cartels. And you think this is good for America? Where are the middle class service jobs to replace manufacturing? That could be tech support and customer service, but we shipped all those to India. Customer service pay is also less than manufacturing jobs.
Removing manufacturing further weakens the middle class, which is decidedly bad for America. I doubt your textbook covered that, though. Textbooks often overlook real world scenarios. There's a reason new employees are often told to forget everything they learned in school.
As you've already stated, you think you are correct because you read it in a textbook. This is called an appeal to authority. Not everything you read in a textbook is true. Not everything you read in a textbook applies to every situation. You read something in a book and repeat it as gospel without even applying any context. That's not critical thinking.
Regurgitating information without the ability to apply it is useless. How many professors can tell you about economics but not build a successful company? How many business owners can successfully navigate the economy but not discuss the intricacies of international trade? Which one is more valuable?

I think there is more complexity to this then the idea that a 25% tariff on a product leads to a 25% increase in price down the road. We know this from the experience with Chinese tariffs where they artificially reduce the value of the yuan. But we also see it from exporters besides China.
Take the big tariff from Trumps' first term - the tariff on steel.
At the end of February, 2018 the price of steel per ton stood around $4119 Trump began imposing 25% tariffs on steel in March of that year. By December of 2018 the price of steel stood at $3542. In Feb, 2020 - just before the pandemic hit the price stood at $3378.
There was volatility in the price, but nothing terribly unusual. But more to the point - you certainly did not see a 25% rise in the price of steel due to the imposition of a 25% tariff on steel imports.

Wait..... Hang on.... Lol
So, the data shows the tariff didn't increase the price of steel????
But, but, but, Rogers opinion is that it will!!!!
Does Roger know that those damn steel prices didn't do as his opinion says it should?????
Roger, what are we going to do about this injustice??????

We have millions of americans that are too stupid/lazy for anything other than manufacturing jobs. I would just as soon they work rather than freeload.

No wonder no one wanted to take a guess at inflation during Trump's first years. Here it comes.

Good luck finding a good job with a 10th grade education and no formal job training.
This is the type of person yalls tariffs prop up.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know how many permanent jobs Joe and Donny's tariffs created?

Please break all this down. Be detailed and explain which tariff is causing fuel increases and by how much as well as food and which food items

He still lies about what a tariff is and who pays it.
Well if it means buying American goods verses Chinese or 3rd world crap that is dumped into the market with little to no oversight.
Americans only pay to import, exports are paid when goods leave here. Unfortunately for far too long we have been run by corporations who believe manufacturing in a 3rd world country where your trade secrets are stolen, then put goods in a slow ship across the Pacific, then unloaded by the Teamsters in California, and then the goods sit in a warehouse until it is sold.

If you like your prices now, you'll love the adjustments post enactment of tariffs. But, hey, I'm thankfully not you.....I don't want to pay more for my food ( produce, mostly)and fuel...but, that's just me.

Quite the government grift.
Cause inflation making American products unaffordable, charge the working guy for buying affordable foreign products and pretend they are protecting the little guy.
We love our MAGA crony capitalism and highly regulated economy. We are damn near Democrats, fellas! Keep pushing! Its for the "good of society!"
