Not entirely sure he "cares" about us. But, I've no doubt he wants to propel America. Being in the spotlight is NOT enough, he views politics as a sport and will NOT be satisfied unless USA gets the best deal.
Folks like Joe? Wet noodle, blowing with the wind. They coast. But Trump, he is obsessed with cutting good deals. I don't care what the exact motivation is, just happen to think it's a better horse to bet on.
YES, I know he already had a chance. Perhaps that doesn't speak highly of the true powers that Presidents have. Which means we're all screwed.
But I do believe he's the best, most independently-minded chance we have. Come November '24, if need be I probably WILL vote DeSantis. But yeah, currently on the Trump train. And if '24 doesn't work out, perhaps I'll decide it's best to not get caught up in traditional politics.
