Or with people like me who voted third party in 2016 because I’d never vote for a current Democrat and didn’t like the way Trump acted, even though I approved of his policies (I lived in Alabama, so he was carrying the state regardless of my vote). 2020, however, he has my vote. I still don’t like the way he acts, e.g., his Twitter account, but this election is too important not to vote for him.

This is an example of behaving as a mature and rational adult.

I love the OP's optimism but I don't see how this happens. This is like predicting that Appalachian State will not only beat Michigan twice, but in fact win the rematch by three touchdowns.

The problem Trump has is with people like me who voted for him in 2016 and will not vote for Biden, but MAY vote third party or just stay home. I am tired of rewarding the establishment do nothing GOP with wins. They need to earn my vote.

Sounds to me like your problem is not with Trump, but with the GOP establishment. If so, welcome to the club

You got a lot of down votes but this is a serious concern.

I argue that Trump isn’t a republican but an AMERICAN first president. The GOP establishment could be the Goya Beans of politics if one had the balls to back the president.

I voted 3rd party in 2016 but will be first in line in November to vote DJT.

Since Biden won the primary he has campaigned on “Trump bad, COVID bad”. He won the primary on being the most rational leftist. His policies have shifted so far to the radical side that once he actually has to explain them, it abandons anyone that is a remotely left/right centrist or independant. I think that’s a much bigger problem than Trump voters voting 3rd party

This is polar opposite to historical campaign strategies. Usually the candidate goes hard left/right and comes back to the middle for the general election.

That shows you that Joe Biden is worried the Democrat base is going to abandon him.
