quote:

President Donald Trump has said that the US could "go back" into the Paris climate deal - having withdrawn America from the global accord last year. "We could conceivably go back in ... I feel very strongly about the environment," said the President during a joint news conference with Norway's Prime Minister Erna Solberg.

Mr Trump began the withdrawal process in June last year but it will not officially conclude per the terms of United Nations-brokered agreement until just before the 2020 US election.

BIG if true!

Every couple of weeks the libs come out with fake stories to try to chip away at Trump's base support. It hasn't worked yet and won't for the next 7 years.

I feel like he’s confused.

He must’ve accidentally been watching Morning Joe instead of Fox and Friends this morning.

Got his wires crossed.

Then he proceeded to rail against it, if you actually watch it...

I just watched it. He explained how the US was unfairly penalized but he was open to a new Paris agreement

The deal was ridiculously harmful to the US relative to others. We stated our intention to back out. Now, they'll have to make concessions to get us back in. The US is already a below-average offender to begin with.

If other nations want us in the Paris climate accord, they are gonna have to come up with new terms of the deal , so that we're not taken advantage of.

Basically those other nations are gonna have to be our bitches.

Nice try but fail on your part.

There is no "going back" into the accord as is.

The US would have to receive big concessions from other countries before we would consider rejoining the agreement.

You really have a problem telling the truth.

He's always said that he would be open to a revised deal that was good for us.

This is news in the same way that man walks on the moon is news.

A lot people bitch about how this deal is so unfair to America and China. It’s laughable

News flash: Guess which two countries produce the most global pollution???? It’s fricking America and China. Yeah the deal cripples us in the short term. It’s sort of suppose to. We are suppose to invest in adapting our infrasture and plants so they are more efficient and produce less pollution.

It’s not really unfair if you consider we are the 2nd largest polluting country on earth.

So we chip in a few extra buck so that developing countries don’t have to go down the path of having a pollution filled industrial revolution , THEN transitioning to cleaner infrastructure. it’s worth it if the ice caps down melt, sea levels rise, ozone stays intact.

I clubbed a seal, lit a piece of coal on fire, and farted while reading this post.
