Democrats want open Borders, where anyone can come into our Country, and stay. This is Nancy Pelosi’s dream. It won’t happen!

It won't happen folks!

THIS is why he uses Twitter...to get the CORRECT message across without the MSM filtering.

He's not wrong.
About time we had a POTUS who tells it like it is on this issue.

No lies detected. If not outright open borders, then at least an underhanded version that allows loopholes and ways illegals can game the system.

Every single democrat senator supported a bill that would basically make it impossible to enforce the border. Ever. Single. One. They are the party of open borders now

Open borders equals a better workforce and economy

I wish they'd come out and correct him if he's misrepresenting their goals. I can't see how he's not absolutely correct.
I actually lost sleep last night turning over the situation and solutions in my head.
I really don't see how we can continue without a sufficient border wall. I also think we need to look at some sort of monetary consequences on Mexico if they continue to turn a blind eye to these Central and South Americans traveling across their country.
What's their wall situation at their southern border? We need to help them build one at their expense.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
you seriously don’t believe that. Do you?
So. Pray tell. What happens to entitlements with open boarders?
We gonna take everyone in and hand them an EBT card and a welfare check at the boarder crossing?
How do you suppose to pay for this?

Hey moron. Most migrants don't qualify for welfare. Another Republican ignorant of the facts. I'm shocked

quote:
But the idea that immigrants come to America to live off the government is wrong. The vast majority of new immigrants are not eligible for welfare. Even green card holders must wait for years to get most benefits. The United States already rejects applications from potential immigrants who could end up on government assistance — people who aren't financially stable can't even get tourist visas. And research shows that poor, uneducated immigrants are the least likely group to use welfare.

But these immigrants do not qualify for the vast majority of public benefits — including food stamps, Social Security, Medicaid, and Medicare. That’s true even though undocumented immigrants contribute billions of dollars to these programs.
Even green card holders, who are permanent residents of the US, have to wait five years to qualify for nearly all social welfare programs. There are a few exceptions, including immigrants who served in the US military or are disabled.
The only groups of newcomers who can enter the United States and immediately receive social assistance are refugees and asylum seekers. Even then, some benefits —like cash assistance — require refugees to work to continue receiving the benefit.

I did as well. Could the people of Mexico get together and form an army an take on these drug gangs? They need a revolution demanding their government end the corruption. Just a Dream, I know. But at some point they need to stay in Mexico and Make Mexico great. There’s a lot fixing that country needs. The people of Mexico need to make the fixing happen. Of course it wouldn’t be easy. But revolutions never are.
I do feel sorrow for the people of Mexico. But we can’t take them all in. We just can’t. Enough is enough.

None of that would apply in an open borders situation.
How would we effectively apply designations to immigrants in an unchecked migration scenario?
You can't lean on the current model of immigration control as evidence of how open borders would work. It's two totally different situations.

Please give an example of anytime in history, past or current where this has been a lasting positive impact...

You can have welfare or you can have open borders. Not both. Pick.
