So again, if he was being fed manipulated intelligence, as it appears he probably was, he knew it beforehand. In the end the decision to attack them was still justified due to the hundreds of attacks against American interests for nearly 50 years and also them committing mass slaughter of their own civilians for protesting.
But we don't need a protracted war over there and that is what Israel appears to want. I'm going to guess Trump won't be having that shite. He said 4 weeks initially. I think, and truly hope, he decides to just walk away from it.

On one hand, I love the tongue lashing of Israel. On the other, do we really believe we didn't have knowledge of their actions? I'm not sure I buy that. And if so, who is really running the show? I think this may be a good cop, bad cop thing where we let them do the dirty work, then act like we reeled them in.
Also, I know it's fake news Axios, but if you start seeing multiple stories like this -- I wonder if someone in the admin. is leaking to put pressure on Israel.
