If you go look at the history of meat processors and you will find the % foreign control has increased to a very high percentage. Dangerous levels in fact.

Cargill Meat Solutions - 24% private US owned
Tyson Foods - 22% public US owned.
JBS USA - 21% owned by Brazil
National Beef Packing - 13% - owned by Brazil.

Independent/Regional = 15%

Because Trump is a totally inept leader.

Now the Ds will reverse the EO

Which is why the Republicans should have passed the bill Massie proposed.

Motherfricker hasn't done anything. This never passed.

Trump signed an EO.

Trump could have supported Massie for the sake of helping Americans, but he's a thin skinned bitch.

Dem president will immediately turn over this EO

JBS is controlled by Brazilians and a portion of JBS is owned by the Brazilian government.

Foreign ownership owns almost 50% of the processing industry.

Smithfield company is about 85% owned by China in the pork sector.

Can’t they already do this? There’s several farms around me that sell their beef to the public.

In some states you can do this as long as it’s a state inspected process facility and sold within that state

Until now to sell across state lines the meat had to be processed at a USDA inspected facility which only the big processors are as compliance is expensive.
