IMO there is a time gap between AI ambition and the energy required to meet AI ambitions. The critical path is energy. This was/is Michael Burry’s short play. Looks like the AI tech bros will have federal backing while energy infrastructure catches up. I would estimate that gap is 3-5 years. I expect to see a lot more streamlined federal permitting for SMRs and NG pipeline projects.
