Well… we didn’t even arm the Iranian people. Seems like they were waiting for something more substantial if they were ever going to rise up. But that didn’t happen.

We tried arming the Kurds and it failed. This isn’t a James Bond movie where we drop a cache of arms from a Cessna and they storm the Bastille. The Iranian people aren’t rising up and the ones who likely would have are already dead or rotting in an Iranian prison
