The national media is clearly supporting Trump in regards to the war coverage.
They keep cranking out these fake polls saying that 100% of MAGA supports it (insane) and 52% of America (equally insane). The Atlantic is practically blowing the Trump administration this last month, which is unprecedented in his 10 years on the stage.
Actual support logically cannot be higher than 34% seeing as literally no one under 35 supports it and virtually no Democrats support it.

Your numbers are very interesting as I just listened to a pod with Robert Pape. He had a pretty calm cool well studied analysis about all of this. He said the oil price drop probably has support up now, but when the reality works its way through the energy markets in a few weeks, that will drop. If this drags on another few months, support settles in at those 35% figures. He thinks DJT can be OK in the long run if he reverses course right now.

That's because there is no Iran anymore. There's factions of IRGC that can't communicate, don't have a command structure, and don't know that nobody is in charge. You could find people to negotiate with right now that would give you the moon. Others would suicide bomb the meeting.
