Maybe Trump was alluding to facebook and twitter banning his ads and/or possibly banning him?

Yes. But he wasn't really speaking about them. The remarks were made while he was talking about how pissed off the pharmaceutical industry is at him due to the various things he is doing to force them to drive down the cost of prescription drugs. He was talking about how drug prices are going to go down by "50, 60, 70% or even more." And went on to say that there are "a lot of very rich people that do not like me too much right now. This may be the last time you guys see me for awhile."

But aside from that, yeah, he has enemies in Ohio.

it looks like is saying his treatment of drug pricing is the subject, and he MAYBE will be acting without much extra chatter for now...

Negative! #1 in the populist playbook is to propose populist policy.
Wrong. Obviously, proposing policy is general to every political movement, not a particular "playbook" strategy adopted by a particular political movement.

quote:

Regarding the press, Trump NEVER once EVER attacked a member of the press before being attacked. Not once.
That's pure crap. Trump went after Megyn Kelly personally for months after the first Republican debate in 2015 because she asked him a question about his attitude and treatment of woman. She asked tough questions to everyone, but of course Trump felt she singled him out.

Also, in 2015, Trump said about the press:
quote:

"They're scum. They're horrible people. They are so illegitimate. … Some of the people in the press are honorable. But you’ve got 50% who are terrible people.’’
Trump went after the press because of a Des Moines Register poll which had him trailing Ben Carson in Iowa.

This was while there several candidates in the race, yet Trump attacked the press because he thought they singled him out, because that's part of his personality.

Trump set the negative tone with the press early in the game, all on his own.

Hs's a populist now? I thought he was a stooge of Putin? You imbeciles in or with the MSM need to get your story straight.
I do not recall many posters here claiming that Trump is a Putin stooge. I have certainly never said that (quite the opposite).

He is a populist demagogue with no ideological anchor whatsoever. In some ways, the perfect politician for exactly that reason.

Isn't that the very reason barry obama dodged so many votes while a state senator and avoided bill authorship while in the U.S. senate?

I have no problem identifying Donald Trump's ideology and I approve.

We are choosing between a tired, empty-suit bureaucrat and a paranoid narcissist.

Both of whom may very well be senile. At least uncle Joe will put qualified people around him instead of sycophantic nutjobs.

But what a year to have to choose between these 2.

Uncle Joe won't make the call on where to put his juice on his dinner tray in six months, let alone choose a cabinet.

I thought this one was interesting. Yesterday when POTUS left for Ohio apparently the White House staff all went outside to watch him leave...

twitter

I don't know if that usually happens or not but I've never noticed that before. Something else people should consider is that the House is in recess currently and the Senate goes into recess today.

No one in human history has had their EXACT speech patterns transcribed word for word as much as Trump.
Except for every person whose words are recorded, ever since we figured out how to analyze speech patterns. Your cell phone provider has your exact speech patterns transcribed word for word.

You can find an in-depth psychoanalysis of presidential speech patterns dating back to at least Woodrow Wilson if you want to.
