Any additional price increase will be on the tariffs.
I can tell you haven't bought a new vehicle in a long time. You are the naive one here but let your hate of trump keep you blind. They depend on it.

A poor "gotcha" attempt without even providing a link.
There's something you need to understand. Things like appliances and vehicles aren't everyday expenses. The everyday expenses faced by Americans are grocery costs, gasoline, utilities, etc. etc..
The Trump admin is currently bringing down grocery, energy and fuel costs. You know, those expenses that everyone deals with on a frequent basis. And as an aside, you completely left out a ton of context from your argument. The very foundation of your point is comprised of dust from a comment that you either inadvertently or deliberately misinterpreted.

I see some still think we run a command economy.

So, prices haven't been going up prior to these tariffs?

Some have, some havent.
But tariffs will raise prices even MORE across the board.

Like I said before Tarrifs were a thing and Trump got elected prices increased by 20% already in 4 years under Biden. WITHOUT Tarrifs. The EV push will just make ICE vehicles cost more because demand will go up. Hopefully a few manufacturers go out of business trying to appeal to the left and fake climate change scares. They all deserve it for lying to the American people. Inflation causes price increases which we already were seeing. TARRIFS is what they will blame it on ....stay stupid

Nobody cares what leftist homosexuals want them to 'prove' anymore.
After COVID and all its leftist madness, after RUSSIAmuhRUSSIA 24/7 for years and years, after tranny bathrooms and groomer story hour and cutting the dix off little kids and...and...
Need I go on? You still don't get it, do you? You lost. No one is listening anymore. America has tuned you out.
Get used to it. If you started doing the right thing TODAY, it'd still take you 20 years to get back to where you were in 2020. You're in the wilderness, Gladys. No one cares what you say anymore.

Lets say you build cars in the USA, you have to pay $1,000 more for imported components.
Your foreign competors prices increase 4k per unit.
What would you do?

Honda and Toyota sure went from bulletproof to "pretty reliable" around the time they shifted manufacturing here.
Honda has been making cars in the US since 1979 and Toyota since 1988. Those years are well before either one of their “golden era” of quality.

Tariffs play a part, but they are not 100% the reason, as you have stated.
