They will use whistleblowers and innuendo to claim he is acting illegally. As SFP said, it is up to the SCOTUS to determine constitutionality. So some organization will have to bring suit. It is a ploy to stop multiple things in their tracks. This is Russia, Russia, Russia redux, different topic.
I'm sorry my tax dollars were used to train Mark Kelly in the Navy and to fund his participation in NASA. I didn't like John Glenn either.
Finally, if the Ds regain the house, they will impeach him for something. I suspect they have those whistleblowers lined up already.

Listen to yourself. Seriously, take 30 minutes and think about this.
The chain of command would crumble.
His orders are illegal because you don’t politically agree with them?
Cmon Creampie do better

So when I was in the USAF and it was drilled into my head that it is incumbent upon me not only to refuse illegal orders, but to report them, my superiors were all guilty of sedition? Again, the UCMJ is very fricking clear about this and that is the law the military is required to follow.
Apples and oranges

No. You don't seem to understand where the sedition comes into this. Again it is not because they were stating the law of the land.

Military law does not fall under SCOTUS’s purview. The military operates under the UCMJ, which has its own legal/court system. Any question of illegal orders are judged by military tribunal with the UCMJ as the guiding document.
The current view of military courts is soldiers operate under the rule of reasonable judgement of legality of orders.
For example, a pilot is ordered to strike a home because a ground commander reported terrorists in the building. He is under orders to fire. He does because he can make no reasonable judgement whether there are civilians in the home. He follows orders, as he should. If the house were later found to have been full of schoolchildren and no terrorists, the pilot is not culpable for committing any sort of war crime.
Now say a soldier were told by his commanding officer to shoot an enemy prisoner in the head, point blank. Any reasonable person would know that is CLEARLY an illegal order. If he follows the order, both he and his commanding officer will find themselves locked up in Leavenworth for life. The proper thing for the soldier to do is refuse the order and report his superior to his superior.
Again, this is all drilled into your head from basic training on when you’re in the service. Reminding soldiers that they’re under no obligation to follow any potential illegal orders, even if they come from the CiC. If they do, they’ll find themselves in deep shite.
ETA—Seeing a DeSantis thread below makes me wish a journalist would ask him for his thoughts, given he was a JAG lawyer and intimately familiar with this subject (unlike Captain BoneSpurs).

Creampie, editing quotes to exclude your nickname is jr high.
Pretending your heroes didn’t call for seditious responses to Potus’
legal orders is cowardice.
What are you so angry about?

“If this happened in Russia, we would assume a coup” is accidentally the most un-American thing in the thread. Russia treats any disagreement with the president as treason. We don’t. That’s the entire fricking point of not being Russia.
Strange hill for "freedom-loving patriots" to die on.
If your argument hinges on the president mimicking a Russian dictator to make sense then maybe take a lap and do some self-analysis.

You're making a very specific legal claim about sedition, so prove it. Quote the words and match them to the statute without inserting intent.
As confident as you are you can probably knock it out during homeroom.

You literally just confirmed what I said, just misusing the word "sedition" at the end.
He's pissed and flailing online. Did exactly what they baited him into.

Let the good times roll.
There's nothing funny about it but, you just have to laugh at the state of affairs this country is in.
They say, the "cream" rises to the top.
We all know where the scum goes.

Hegseth should recall all the former military to active duty and then court martial them all.
The two former spooks should have their security clearances pulled.

Oh so react in an illegal manner? Yeah that wouldn't be ironic or anything
They couldn't possibly want Trump to act like a fascist and ignore the rule of law, now would they?
