CBS should have offered a dollar. It's an attempt at a shakedown.
So, being dishonest and being the propaganda arm of the DNC, all the while purporting yourself to be an independent and unbiased news source should have ZERO consequences?
You are a fricking idiot or a Dimocrat….oh I’m sorry, same thing.

Where was the propaganda? Both responses aired were essentially non responsive word salad. It didn't make her look good or insightful....
Come on, you just want to own the other side. You probably cannot even point out specifically and even what issue she was attempting to comment on.....neither can Trump for that matter.

I know I struck a chord to have all the Trumpkins come to this level of defense.
People are saying they've never seen such behavior. It's phenomenal, nasty behavior.....really bad.

Dang. They really did cross the line, huh. So badly they are concerned with criminal culpability. Yikes.

We are laughing at your completely speculative allegation with no evidence to support it. That isn’t a level of defense. It is just mocking you. Nothing more.

Trump sued because he got upset how CBS edited a Kamala Harris interview. Complete farce of a claim.

Why would they settle if it was a farce
Not only are they trying to settle, the CBS big guns resigned last week
President and CEO (McMahon) AND 60 Minutes Executive Produces (Owens).

Upset that I'm accusing Trump of using the court to elicit a bribe? What would you call what Trump is doing.....virtuous education of wayward institutions?
You wanna mock me, I'll mock you by throwing out what I clearly see as the truth . Apparently you've never seen a shakedown. You lived a virtuous life surrounded by ethical people, mostly.
Tell me where I'm wrong in my conclusion of said shakedown/ bribe?

This board has been destroyed by an influx of tds sufferers - it’s unreadable and low iq now

quote:Please explain why CBS would offer a settlement if they even REMOTELY thought they were being “shook down”?
Please point out the actual quote that was "propaganda" All I saw was different parts of the response to a question asked . One sentence was on 60 minutes.....the other was broadcast on Face the Nation. Both responses amounted to word salad.
Why offer the settlement if they didn’t KNOW FOR A FACT that Trump had them dead to rights in this lawsuit?
They are, after all, a professional gaslighting organization. They have successfully gaslit so many gullible losers such as yourself to believe that Trump is the actual threat to democracy. There is zero chance they would offer a settlement if they truly thought they had a legitimate defense.
Also, dickhead, how many times do you need to be told that kiwi is NOT a synonym of dick?

All evidence to the contrary. Trump turned down the offer. You are accusing CBS of unsuccessfully trying to bribe the President of the United States. It is wildly speculative and perhaps libelous.

See above. Remarkable you think you’re making a point. You’re actually making the complete opposite point.

Oh sure he's turning down the offer, he feels he can leverage Redstone and use her greed to his advantage. Redstone does not want anything to hamper her payday. The last thing Trump wants is a trial where he would have to spend additional money in an ultimate losing proposition....even using the Law cited in the complaint.
If Redstone isn't desperate to get her sale done, CBS takes this to Court and he'll lose and he personally has to spend a lot of money by going to District Court . Then to the Fifth and ultimately SCOTUS.

Then why did they offer to settle for $15 mil? That doesn't make any sense. If someone sues me with a "complete farce of a claim" I'm not settling and most reasonable people wouldn't either.

They edited the interview. They did it to make Harris look better in a critical election season. They admitted it. That's election interference and deliberate public manipulation via disinformation.
Are you disputing this?
XiBS should be made to pay Trump everything in their coffers, and lose their credentials. They became as irrelevant and propagandist as XiNN the moment they cut Catherine Herridge loose.
