Trump refuses to cut welfare and Obamaphones

The man is a protectionist liberal like the democrats of the fifties and sixties that bowed to the union kingpins while throwing money at the military industrial complex and at every conceivable welfare program.
If you can't cut out Obamaphones you can't cut government at all. He said this weekend there will be no welfare entitlement cuts.

Forgive my ignorance but I thought social programs were typically funded at the state level. Unless you mean Medicare and social security.

Federal dollars pass through state budgets for things like food stamps and Medicaid. It is nonetheless federal.

I do disagree with him.
But, I'm 50. I've watched one president after another do it basically by the numbers.
So. I like to think I'm a thoughtful and pretty smart guy.
But, I'm hoping that maybe there are other "numbers" that might work
