I’m not sure Trump realizes it or not but the reflecting pool isn’t supposed to be clear water where you can see the bottom like a pool. It is supposed to be dark so you can see the reflection of the monuments.

I do t think that low bid is correct. The poolcrete alone would cost more than 1.5 million for a pool that size.

Yeah, I’m sure. He has no idea what reflecting means. He actually called it the reflecting lake in his ten minute rambling. I could only stomach about 1.5 before it was so depressing and stupid that I had to check out.

I'm not sure if you realize this or not, but they can create this effect with a dark finish on the pool. I do not think the reflecting pool is meant to be filthy and in a state of decay. This has been a known issue for awhile, and as Trump said, this is something Biden started the bidding for.
