I live in the Heights of Houston and I have to say I’m impressed by the amount of trump pence yard signs I see. Don’t get me wrong there are some uber libs that live here but what was once a area where you couldn’t walk past a house that didn’t have a Beto sign it seems people are finally starting to see reality and not rhetoric

Beto sign

What kind of clown takes him seriously as a person, much less can support him as a leader enough to put a sign supporting him in their yard.

Speaking as somebody who lived in downtown Austin in that election cycle, most of urban Texas.

I moved to 17th and Durham in 2015. The Heights is actually a great place to gauge elections.

My neighbor who has lived there since 2007 was one of the only people to tell me that he was sure that Trump would win months before the election. He said in 2008 and 2012 there were Obama signs in every house. He said “look around. Do you see any Hillary signs?”

2018 - there were Beto signs in every yard and damn if he didn’t come close to taking out Cruz.

2020 - not a Biden sign in sight.

I laughed my arse off when I started seeing polls with Biden leading in TX. Trump is going to win at least as big as 2016.

Throughout all of Texas in 2018 were Beto signs, shirts, and bumper stickers. I swear you’d think Beta was a fashion label. No Cruz signs whatsoever.

So far, I haven’t seen a Biden sign.
