If it had been "an order that was refused" the McGahn would have been fired on the spot, because that is how Trump rolls.

What difference does it make whether he "ordered" it or "considered" it when ultimately he didn't fire him? Not arguing with you but that's like someone ordering someone else to go rob a bank and nothing happening. It sounds bad but if we change our minds and decide to stay home and watch TV instead then it's not a big deal.

That's solicitation.

Soliciting a crime is itself a crime. The solicitation is a criminal act regardless of whether the crime occurs.

Of course everyone here would say that because Trump is allowed to withdraw all his money that he's allowed to have someone do it at gunpoint.

You realize there's no crime in the President firing Mueller? A ton of possible political implications, but no crime.

That's insane. He should be impeached for even attempting to obstruct justice in such a way (but obviously Republicans are too cowardly to choose country over party). This is an absolute bombshell report from the Times.

It's not illegal for the President to fire Mueller. You need to do research before you start throwing shite at the wall. I'm also pointing out how hypocritical you are. Don't be a useful idiot.

Mueller is terrible at his job and a partisan hack. People have been fired for much less.

So Mueller hasn't been fired, and all of this is basically heresay and you want Trump impeached? So that means you would be good with me going to your work and making something up and trying to get you fired. That makes a lot of sense.

Not certain on that, but I was referring to the statement here that is now canon: "Trump had the right to fire Comey, negating any crimes he committed in doing so".
