Conservative commentator Wayne Root suggested during an interview with Trump that the president could declare a national emergency if the Senate does not pass the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE America) Act.
The legislation, which Trump and hard-line House GOP lawmakers have pushed Senate Republicans to pass for months, proposes requiring Americans to provide proof of citizenship to register to vote in federal elections and show photo ID at the polls.
“If you do this in the next month, we will get photo ID, proof of citizenship and a limit to mail-in ballots, and you don’t even need the Senate’s help,” Root said to the president, regarding him declaring a national emergency.
Trump cut Root off, saying, “Let me just say that stranger things have happened, OK? I’ll leave it at that.”

I agree with POTUS Trump. The current state of our domestic politics and the lack of security in our national election system is a National Emergency that threatens the National Security of the USA.

Banana Republic was the 2020 election with mass distribution of mail in ballots, delayed counting, ignoring certification rules, etc.
Impeaching a president for a phone call with a foreign leader inquiring about the blatant corruption of his predecessor VP and future opponent, all of which has been documented as true.
I could go on and on.
Dems cheat. They admit that they cheat. They brag that they would DO ANYTHING to thwart Trump. They brag about resisting his presidency from the inside with shadow government.
There is absolutely NO reason why ID’s should not be required to cast a ballot. Unless you are a Dem and you plan to cheat.

Ever since at least 2000, the party not in the White House has always spread fearmongering that the party in power would cancel elections.
Democrats claimed Bush would do it.
Republicans claimed Obama would do it.
