Your entitled to your opinion, and I am entitled to mine. Your a clown and possess zero critical thinking. Geez.... You really should reconsider, but if you had that ability... you wouldn't say such stupid things.
Elon is the richest man in the world. His and Trump's life would be much less complicated if they'd sat this election out. They didn't because they are concerned about something more than money, the state of this nation and what made us great! Pull your head outta ur arse and see the bigger picture man.
Or don't.... America First is happening with or without you.

Trump and Musk haven't exactly gotten rich off of government. It's the left-wing loons like Warren and Schmuck Schumer who have gotten rich off of us. And surprise, surprise, they're also the one's mad as hell regarding Elon and DOGE.

Ya gotta stop watching MSNBC, bro.

Yeah, especially the "guy" who steals women's luggage.

Oh, wait. That was the last regime.

You copied and pasted the wrong talking point. That’s for your arguments against corporations. You’re looking for the one opposing government oversight. Of course, there is none because it’s a unicorn, so it’s going to require you to turn your brain on and get creative.

They are running America like a business by trying to decrease losses and unneeded fat. You’re too much of a sky-screamer to see it.

The problem with background checks and security clearances is that they have proven to be worthless. Just a short list of some of the winners that theoretically passed a background check.
Clapper
Brennan
Comey
Hillary
Austin
Fauci
Struck
Etc, etc etc
Who would you trust based on the what we see from past government officials?

My two cents. Trump is undertaking a very difficult, necessary and unpopular task. If the US was a publicly traded company, shareholders would have demanded answers and an accounting of business practices years ago. My take is current administration is approaching this as a business. We have all dealt with reorgs and belt tightening by our employers, Same approach is now being applied to the government.

I like Elon.....but ehhhhhhh

He's wealthy without government but many, including a ton of people on this site, weren't fans of the subsidies Tesla got.

Absolutely right. It's about time that the federal government was run like a business. It’s the biggest business going, and all too often there's been way too much dirty business.

Trump/Musk pointing out waste. fraus, and incompetence is called a power grab by the dems. The American taxpayers are outraged. If the dems want to be on the wrong side of this argument then so be it. Nancy Pelosi and other dems became very rich while in Congress or working in the government. Time to make them prive how that happened. Would love to see Pelosi go to jail for stealing from taxpayers.

What I love about current administration is a modern approach to government spending. If true, he has folks tapping into systems, running algorithmic programs to identify potential concerns. This explains reason for shutting things down in short term. Much easier to reconcile data from multiple systems when they are static for a period of time.

People just don’t want to hear.

Is fraud and wasteful spending ok? Yes or no?

Do you want social security and the Country to be solvent yea or no?

It is that easy.

Agree to disagree. We can have 25 yr olds writing code, analyzing billions of records looking for discrepancies or flags. Or we can have the current system of tenured officials looking out for their own interests and saying that’s the way we’ve always done it.

Every penny of government spending should be completely and totally unrestricted, publicized, and available to anyone who asks for any reason.

Change my mind.

What an overreaction. These aren’t launch codes. If anything, this data should be made more transparent. Decades of secrecy is how we got here in the first place.
