Considering trump nearly got his last Vice President decapitated in the rotunda by an angry mob, I don’t think desantis will be eager to be Trump’s next fall guy. Desantis has a real political future.

If Trump runs, "they" indict him. I'm certain that's the plan. They won't let him win, they won't let him sniff the nomination. The same people that spied on his campaign and set in motion the Russia hoax will have all the power again and this time they've learned the lesson to not be as sloppy as they were last time.

I am more afraid that if Trump did win, he would re-appoint Sessions as AG. Stupid example, but everyone knows what I mean. His choice of appointments for many cabinet positions was horrible. Numero Uno - Jeff Sessions.

I agree with other posters that Desantis doesn't take a VP slot and waits for 2028 if Trump runs and sucks the air out of the room.
I love DeSantis, but if Trump runs we may have to go with a female VP?
Or someone of color?
