Barak Ravid is probably an administration stenographer, so you have to ask why he is floating whatever story he has.

Trump has floated nearly finished deals multiple times. This time, I really thought it was almost done. But, on the one six weeks ago I knew he was full of it and went to see what Iranians were saying through Scahill/Drop Site and Prof Marandi on the podcast circuit. They immediately countered what he was saying.

And, of course, Iran is either full of shite and/or we don't know who actually is ruling and making decisions.

Throw in influencers and podcasts all over the place and it's hard to understand what is happening.
