Trump has to be wondering if all those attacks on DeSantis were worth it. Spent a lot of money there for almost no benefit. His entire legal bill could be covered by that, I'm sure.

It hasn’t dawned on you and many others yet that what Trump is contending with and the cost associated is now a standard campaign cost for, theoretically, any Republican Presidential candidate from here on.
It’s now going to be a standard campaign tactic of the left, and the corresponding cost for the Republican. And the main reason for that is because so many of us aren’t all that pissed off over it and that’s because the same people are too preoccupied with taking out Trump and doing so as viciously as possible. In the meantime the left’s out here like “sweet, they don’t even care! And hell, they’re doing the heavy lifting for us to boot!! Yaaay!!”

I can’t understand the mindset of people who cheer when the government, who has unlimited funds ( money it grifted from taxpayers as you put it) to bankrupt anyone over bogus charges.
