Oh now we trust polls?
Just FYI, the same poll has Trump sitting in the low 40% range overall, which is laughable.

Then again, you're under the impression the Texas electorate is set to turn into California-lite and "drub" Republicans in 2020.

Time will tell.

Theoretically China could invest in somewhere like Brazil to improve their infrastructure to increase production but it would take a few years.

I've been saying it for a few years.

China Investment in Brazil hit 7 year high in 2017

Chinese investment has poured into Brazil as the world's most populous country looks to secure food for its citizens and other natural resources.

Which should drive prices down, which is a good thing for consumers. Right?

No?

Oh . . . wait . . . you are saying China is disregarding prices. You're saying China is malignantly targeting US soybeans and pork at any price, even though the Chinese people badly need those commodities? And you're saying that's Trump's fault?

You are an interesting fellow.

How long do you expect that to last with idle bean acre that can go to corn?

If an acre is planted in corn then it is not an idle bean acre. If the price of corn goes in the crapper then farmers will plant another crop. They are not stuck to planting just one type of crop.

You people are just wrong about the impact of the trade war on US farmers.

No we are not. Everyone agrees that it hurts in the short term, but everyone except for you and your alter realize farmers will be fine in the long run. China is not the only market in the world. If China buys more beans from Russia that means that Russia will have less beans to sell to the EU.

Good thing the weather caused 10million acres to go unplanted this year.
