For a while, I was legitimately concerned about mail in ballots and potential ballot harvesting swinging the election to Biden.

For the last couple of weeks, really since Trump got over Covid, I’ve paid more attention—watched rallies for both candidates, for Trump I’ve watched the majority of every one he’s done in the last couple of weeks.

The crowds are as big or possibly even bigger than they were 4 years ago, and this is during a global pandemic that is still a very real thing to many Americans. Sure, the pandemic can be used as an excuse for Biden to use for limiting the amount of people that attend his. I think it’s more of something to hide behind—even without Covid, could you see 30k+ thousand people waiting in line for hours to see Joe speak in the state he’s in right now? I don’t, and online viewership ratings reflect that too. At Trump’s rally tonight in N.C., he topped out at about ~125k watching on the right side broadcasting YouTube channel alone. I haven’t seen a Biden event aside from the town hall scratch 50k yet.

Trump has to win one of Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan to win on November 3rd—assuming he’s doesn’t flip states that will be close such as Minnesota and Nevada. I think he gets all 3.

Kamala had at least 15 people at her rally. Give them credit where it's due

I look at the rallies and I look at the enthusiasm of the Republicans and I can’t help but see 2016 all over again. I may be wrong but it just seems like the enthusiasm gap is just as big or bigger than 2016. I know it’s antidotal but I think Trump wins again

Without all the election frickery by the left, Trump would have been reelected by the widest margin in US history.

Trump has more people in the shitter at one of his rallies at any given time than A N Y of the total attendance of the Biden rallies.

Sadly, that's not an exaggeration.

The hate for him is real though. Nobody is going to the polls to vote for crooked Biden. They are going vote against Trump. That’s why nobody goes to Biden/Harris “rallies”. They don’t care about policy, it’s just a bit against bad orange man.

If the dems DO succeed in stealing it, that enthusiasm gap is going to result in more blowback than the dems planned for... or can handle.

Shutting down the country for eight months, riots and mail fraud was really their only chance at winning and even that won't be enough for them.

After TRUMP wins we need to make them pay for what they've done to us.

This is offset though in my opinion with how big/loyal Trump’s base is. Millions will vote for him November 3rd because they fricking love him. Biden doesn’t have this kind of support. As you pointed out, most of them are just voting against trump.

San Antonio Current

quote:

Several prominent Lone Star State Republicans joined in a call organized by the Texas Democratic Party to ask GOP voters to put country ahead of party and vote out President Donald Trump.

"It's not just enough to sound off against the president," said Republican donor Jacob Monty, who served on Trump's Hispanic Task Force before publicly parting ways over the president's anti-immigrant rhetoric. "We need to vote for Joe Biden. The consequences are just too great if we don't."

Monty, who helped mobilize Latinx voters for Republican George W. Bush's two presidential campaigns said Trump's racially divisive politics and lack of respect for military personnel are antithetical to his beliefs. For the first time in his life, he's now voting for a Democrat on the top of the ticket.

"All of that changed when Donald Trump descended that escalator and called us rapists and murderers," Monty said, growing red-faced as a he spoke on the Zoom call co-sponsored by the Biden campaign.

Likening Trump's divisive politics "national migraine," former Republican congressman and Dallas mayor Steve Bartlett said the president has damaged both the country's governance and national security. He bristled at a reporter's question about whether a Biden presidency might hurt Texas' oil economy.

"I had to laugh at the question, because how much worse could the oil economy be damaged [than under Trump]?" he asked rhetorically.

This is Texas. Biden is competitive in Texas. I’m not saying Biden will win Texas but he shouldn’t even be close there. Georgia either for that matter.
