Exactly. If someone is assaulting you and you still feel threatened you have to do something to stop them from continuing to assault you.
All of these morons seem to think you're just supposed to let yourself be assaulted.
If that's not what they are saying then if it turns out got the assaulter was armed also that's an even better reason to get your gun out first.
You would hate to respond by pushing the person away from you and having them pull their gun out!
