Except DC isn’t a nice civilized place. They have a gun pointed to their heads with a heavy police presence and are behaving accordingly. Take that threat away and the craziness comes right back.
Being civilized wouldn’t require the actions Trump has taken. But it has shown what could be. Hopefully people are taking note.
The Left loves talking about starting conversations, usually mindless one designed to shift blame. They could be asking why it took the NG coming in to quell the violence and what has been happening in DC to make it so violent? The same could be said almost everywhere across the country. It certainly isn’t a lack of midnight basketball causing this. It’s societal and that is a far bigger problem that needs addressing but nothing will change until people starting caring more about themselves, valuing education … and maybe even finding religion.

"designate a number of each State’s NG to be reasonably available for rapid mobilization," and to "ensure availability of a standing National Guard quick reaction force...resourced, trained, and available for rapid nationwide deployment."

Or, at least......ya know......taken any stance at all.
The best I can advise you to do is to locate any future businesses you may have right next door to a Federal building. That way, they may at least knock down the flames on your property so the fire doesn't spread to theirs.
