Actually to be fair, that is exactly what he campaigned on and promised the rust belt.

If he was going to have a shot in 2020 of winning those states again, he had to deliver on that.

If the economy was thriving I doubt they care, China isn't dumb they'll counter with tariffs that will hit Trump's base. The farm belt came out big for Trump in 2016, these tariffs can just escalate into growth killing stupidity.

This probably means I am going to have to suffer through six more years of Senator Heitkamp.

He's got zero political discipline man.

I wouldn't say zero but it's definitely not high enough.

Case in point was how he fricked up the Comey firing and told Lester Holt that it was about russia. Just russia. Russia man! That enabled Rosenstein to cuck out and appoint Mueller.

But to his credit, he's never done another TV interview with a non fox channel and reporter since that debacle.

He's not exactly an ideological purist,

He's ideological as frick about Trade though and that's the one issue that will override his weakness of being flattered and listening to the last person who spoke to him.

his party does not want to eat another shutdown the Dems would absolutely blame on him/them by extension.

Disagree.

It would've energized the conservative base for the midterms and solidify the Trump base.

Now that base is splitting apart thanks to Trump showing weakness.

. Maybe the blue wave will help him find himself and be more willing to tell Congress to eat a dick.

Actually he needs to be more willing to tell Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell to eat a dick.

Telling a democrat congress to go frick themselves? So brave.

The GOP leadership in Congress still does not understand why Trump won the primaries and the general. Just one statement of no confidence in either of them would shake things the frick up.

It’s hard for me to take you serious Sentrius when you consistently bash patriots such as Bannon who is full on anti establishment. But please continue with your faux outrage over Ryan and McConnell.

he was apparently so easily influenced by Mattis just before signing, during lunch. I mean, a fricking lunch time conversation did this.

And I also want to tell Mattis that he needs to just straight get fricked. That's some shady bullshite to pull.

To be fair, he probably said something like,"Secretary Bolton will have us at war with the Shia' and the Norks shortly! I NEED that damn defense money ASAP, sign the damn bill, sir!!!"

This thread is constructive criticism of the President as I want him to succeed and honor what he campaigned on and this week was not that.

We should be rooting for him to do just that and support that.

You've got an argument, I just doubt the GOPers up for reelection want to take that gamble. They figure all this will be forgotten by November, but the right is lacking motivation to get out and vote. A veto might have helped.

The GOP's best to win the midterms is to nationalize the midterms instead of each election being local.

A veto would've helped immensely. Trump fricked up that golden opportunity to shore up the base, especially after hiring Bolton.

Oh no, we're so sorry.

Hillary Clinton should've been President.

It was her turn dammit.

Whatever helps you sleep at night. It was you deranged fools who nominated @real as the Republican candidate. Cuck! Pepe! Lock her up! Mexico's gonna pay for it! You are some truly ridiculous people.
