that National Review article by Ben Shapiro that was posted yesterday shed light on Trumpkins.

they know he's immoral. They know he's a liar. They know he's an outrageous buffoon. They don't care. They actually admire it.

I laughed at this statement. It's insane how loyal people are to a person they've never met and they know deep down he doesn't give a frick about them.

That statement goes for (D) President's and (R)'s too.

No one admires it. They just don't care about your feelings, and thankfully neither does trump.

People want progress on real issues. His persona is not preferable by any means, but is FAR preferable to the alternative, which is cowering to feelings and completely ignoring substance and facts

Tl;dr "fact checking" political statements is transparently ridiculous. How about discussing substance once in a while instead of focusing on daily semantical "gotcha" moments? Are you the content editor at WaPo?

This might be my favorite reply yet. Apparently fact checking politicians is now ridiculous.

And this thread was anchored. Hilarious.

A national enquirer article is allowed, but this isn't.

L.A can't handle the truth.

I don't think it necessarily should have been anchored. However, the thread is clearly an attempt to flame the board, which is against the rules. If you actually believe what you posted is objective or factual...you have much more pressing issues than whether a thread is anchored.

frick WaPo but...

They kept track of how many times Trump said OCare is a failure and counted EACH ONE as a lie.

They need to mother fricking investigate a crap ton of serious felonies involving the Obama admin spying-alone. Frick WaPo.

No, fact checking isn't. But scouring every single statement, viewing them each in a contextual vacuum, and finding a way to "disprove" them separately is not fact checking. It is dishonest, one sided and transparently a political attack.

At least he didn't tell me I could keep my health insurance plan and doctor. And as of this moment he hasn't sent billions in cash to aid our enemy in the development of nuclear weapons and ICBM's. For that reason alone Obama should be lined up against a wall and shot.
