This is a good initial step for the Trump administration. Find out what dumbass environmental laws are going to be possible roadblocks so that they'll know which laws Trump will need to repeal with executive orders on his first day in office. Getting those environmental roadblocks out of the way before construction even begins will be a huge first step.

I'll go out on a limb and say they'll deed it over. It's not exactly the Nile Valley.

Maybe but landowners didn't welcome the government with open arms when Bush was building his fence.

You do realize Trump's career has, in part, finding ways around regulatory barriers to erect great buildings?
I don't remember any such thing, but I am sure that would involve a bribe if it ever happened.

You do know he hired Scott Pruitt as head of the EPA, right? If you don't think he fully plans to repeal a boat load of EPA regulations, especially the ones BHO pencil whipped into place, you are the one needing to ride the short bus.

Right, because the border patrol doesn't already have legal use of this hypothetical land

Do you ever let a dumb idea pass through your brain without thinking about how ignorant it will make you look, if you don't check out its merits before posting?

You guys got to waste billions on overpriced shitty health care. It is our turn now.

At least we'll have something to show for it 10 years down the road.

How many of those regulations have anything to do with building a wall? A few NPDES permits that are simple to get, any ESA permits required, and permits to alter aquatic resources.

It's not a tough project to permit outside of the political nature of it.

That wall is going to be built, and Mexico will pay for it. And there are several nay sayers that are going to cry.

Finally; you guys are fricking morons if you think this is going to happen during his presidency.

You'll be saying this until the last touches are being put on the wall. Then you'll proclaim that it is an illegitimate wall. I truly am delighted by the new liberal tactic of denying reality right until the moment it focefully penetrates your loose, waxedbutthole.

This is true. But I do see value in a wall. Although most illegals enter legally and simply overstay.

Well, if you want a wall that will keep things out, the USACE might not be the best people to ask.
