Kind of a weird rabbit trail to go down - in the biggest transplant state in the union. My people who have been rooted in north Florida since the 1840s wouldn’t consider either true Floridians but do consider them both damn good men. WTF does it matter ?

Just not sure Ron would want to inherit the mess in 2024. Give Don 4 years to wreck shop and then come in on his heels.

The Dems would love a split vote between Trump and DeSantis.

That would only happen in the Republican primary.
In the general election – assuming either candidate ran for POTUS – only one would be on the ballot.

14 points higher than Trump. That’s an asskicking if it comes down to this in a year and a half. To other DeSantis fans:

You little shits are going to make people like me not vote at all if ron wins against Trump. fricking let it go

This is what the Dems and the left want. Fighting between both voters gives them a lot of confidence going into 2024.

Absolutely. I can't believe the right falls for the political lefts dirty doings. But it pisses me off that after all Trump did and endured for us conservatives, some on our side have come to show nothing but disdain because of a few weaknesses he has. These same people probably hoisted baby Bush's ballsack all throughout the early 2000s.

The average Republican outside of Florida could care less about DeSantis. Its a Florida poll, so this result is expected

Hear, hear.

I personally don't consider a person to be a Texan unless at least one direct ancestor was here in 1836.

That’s got to be an eye opener for Trump and do that dumb bullshite he did with Elon yesterday.

Do you really think that anybody really gives a frick about that?

And do you really think that in 2 years time, the average voter will really give a frick about a thread that Trump posted on Truth Social?

Although both live in FL. Ron is embraced by more of the locals. The polls show that. Whoever wins the primary gets my vote for the GE. I will make up my mind who I am voting for after the debates.

This desire to drive a wedge between voters on the right just seems so intentional to me. Sabotaging your own side… create animosity which can drive down enthusiasm.

This needs to end. The dems will win if we don’t get fully behind our candidate. Whomever that ends up being will need a unified party and support from independents.

I think most people on the right are fine with either Trump or DeSantis.

It's mewling pussies like OMLandshark whose vaginas bleed every time Trump posts a tweet that are not helping.

Trump had his shot. He served his purpose. Time for him to sit down and let someone qualified to govern do so.

Desantis will not run for President.

I know a few big donors to Ron. If Trump runs, Desantis has told them he will not run if Trump does, because . . . .

He’s not dumb enough to become another Rubio or Ted Cruz

And they all realize this will happen if he tries to usurp Trump. He wont be a national contender ever again
Several months ago I posted a link to a local SC article where the big money guys met with DeSantis.

One of the donors made a direct quote that they were supporting Ron for Governor with their mouth and checkbooks. They said- Trump has first dibs on the Presidency; and it didn't harm anything having Ron on stand-by if Trump didn't run.

It is very obvious the Establishment uniparty was the letter to the editor in the WSJ article promoting DeSantis saying OMB. https://www.tigerdroppings.com/rant/politics/trump-and-the-midterms/103285875/

DeSantis is well aware he is being promoted to get rid of OMB. Rollins' swamp-get ready for Ron media push-- was hired by whom: DeSantis or the GOPe?

DeSantis isn't speaking out. He is playing passive aggressive; and was at the last GOPe meeting (they bragged Trump was not invited to) When Pence said Trump was a Putin apologist and they all clapped joining Paul Ryan & Romney.

I think DeSantis and the establishment is counting on support no matter what as it is his turn-and there is no other choice.

This is not honorable. It is shady. If he is truly MAGA what are his national policies? Will the Turtle Caucus allow Ron to act MAGA as President?

Before Turtle plays the shell game again---- Ron needs to make it clear if he can stand on his own? Or is being used to get OMB out.
