What is the story re this guy who is sitting this one out? Is he being disloyal?

"Fred Heebe, a New Orleans businessman, has been a major donor to Trump and attended a fundraiser that Canizaro hosted for Trump in 2019, when he was president.

Heebe is sitting this one out.

“I’ve decided to be uninvolved for now,” he said."

He would never step foot in New Orleans proper to fundraise.

What are they serving? I can’t see trump enjoying a traditional New Orleans cuisine.

Why does Donald Trump need Boysie Bollinger’s money?

And is noted shipbuilder Boysie part of the Deep State military-industrial complex?

Other way around. Bollinger needs both parties to protect the domestic shipping industry. There’s a lot of money on the water.

The dems are waging law fare. Trump needs an army of lawyers to fight for him.

And contracts from the Navy. But is that the Deep State or not?

I’m wondering what the difference is when Trump accepts hundreds of thousands of dollars from guys who expect a return on investment and other politicians do it?

The difference is that Trump is independently wealthy. Certainly Trump can be influenced by donors, but I’d argue that it’s not to the same extent people like lunch bucket Joe or Bill and Hillary Clinton can be influenced. The Bidens and Clintons had nothing prior to going into politics and they are now loaded.

But he doesn’t use his wealth to finance his political life. He uses other people’s money.

How is that any different than the other guys?

I'd agree with that... for the most part.

Boysie Bollinger needs to spend his money.

He can’t take it with him to heaven. He has donated millions to the World War II museum and the Audubon Zoo.

And for the record, Boysie is no longer in control of Bollinger Shipyards, that company is now under Chouest control, but with a Bollinger family member at the helm in that Boysie’s nephew, Ben Bordeleon runs it.

Bollinger is growing in that they just purchased some of Gulf Island’s facilities in Houma and another yard in Pascagoula.
