So, per Chris Murphy’s theory, (a DNC talking point you are spreading), the fact that a family member of a felon attended a political fundraiser is evidence of a quid pro quo pardon? That’s the “evidence” you have?

The DOJ under Garland threw ethics out the window. Trump has a team studying weaponization of government to target political opponents. It’s possible aspects of the prosecution weren’t on the level.

No, you have a series of events that the NYT claims evidence corruption. You have no actual evidence that Trump accepted a donation in exchange for a pardon. Thousands of people attend political fundraisers. They don’t all get pardons.
Now interestingly, the Mark Rich pardon had a hell of a lot more evidence that a millions were donated in December 2000 in exchange for that pardon.
