His impeachment trial was literally laughed out of court on live TV
Laughed out of court when 2 Republican senators (after 70% of the Republican house) voted to impeach him?
Laughed out of court when he had to pay $6.6 mil to the whistleblowers?
Laughed out of court to where his mistress used her 5th amendment right against self-incrimination?
Maybe Nate Paul is innocent and just misunderstood in all of this as well.
None of this has any impact on Paxton’s political future, but this wasn’t some case that was laughed out of court like you’re making it seem.

Cornyn was on the edge of being a RINO! So, good riddance...if the freak dude doesn't pull a win out of his arse.

you can tell rightwing twitter is grasping because they tried to spin a a potato, egg and cheese taco into something.
We only judge for potato, egg, and cheese breakfast tacos (which are delicious albeit not as good as the steak, egg, and gouda he should have gotten);
Not cheating on your wife. Sorry.

Paxton is a scumbag Definitely on brand for Trump to endorse a fellow piece of shite
I’ve resigned myself to the fact that all congressmen and women are scumbags. So I’ll just support whoever most aligns with the legislation I want to see passed

Charzio and egg is the way to go but potato, egg and cheese is at every gas station taco spot for a reason
saw some dudes calling him a gay vegan for eating eggs and cheese. What are we doing

Cast my vote for Paxton and against Chip Roy today. Thune and the swamp are losing all their decrepit old friends…

Best base affirming move Trump has made in 6 months.

I think a “corrupt POS” applies to most politicians - might as well pick the one who will fight for the causes you support.

Congrats to you and your kids for being so soft on pedophiles, no wonder Trump likes him so much!

“I do really love getting life or 50 years in a case when I feel like it’s appropriate,” said Angela Weltin, chief of the Special Victims Bureau for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. “But there are times when I have to dismiss the case even when I know they committed this offense, because I can’t prove it and I can’t re-traumatize that child.”
Nasty little details.
Nasty little details.

Yep.
quote:
“I’m seeing a pattern here that is concerning me,” Sparkman said, referring to the way Paxton’s office prosecutes cases. “If they get a mistrial, all of a sudden it’s just a little misdemeanor with a slap on the hand.”
Court records show that all three cases drawing scrutiny began as high-level felony charges and ended in mistrials. All were eventually resolved with plea deals resulting in little to no jail time. And in each case, the judge presiding over the deal insisted on a harsher punishment than what Paxton’s office originally proposed.
quote:
“I can’t speak to the result in this specific case without having all the facts, but it is ironic that Paxton is now facing criticism for this outcome when he frequently criticizes the work of local prosecutors who are faced with these difficult decisions daily,” Dick said in an interview.
