With Harvard announcing that its moving classes virtually for all 2020-2021 you can expect more schools to follow.

I personally feel DeVos should be part of the COVID task force team publicly stating how schools should operate as normal for in person classes.

Fauci specifically stated to Rand Paul two weeks ago in a hearing he believes kids should attend school in person because this virus has minimal to literally no effect on them.

Parents are in such a shitty spot right now but the Trump admin can go on the offensive pushing the narrative that schools should open. Right now it's largely being controlled by the media because this virus is 100% political.

What are the reasons schools can't be in person?

No, they don't.

That needs to be done by cities and states.

The DOE has fricked up schools enough already.

DeVos needs to eliminate Title 9, then eliminate her own department.

How about Trump disband the Department of Education and let the States decide what they will do?

How about no??? You think they tax the shite out of us now for schooling; just wait if the Senate takes it over.

Agree with what bamarep said.

I think school should open up (hell both of our kids are currently in daycare and staying there). Everyone keeps bringing up how kids are affected by the virus, but what about the teachers? There's a lot of elderly teachers out there. Having some dead teachers on your hands would look just as bad as dead kids. Imagine your school getting an outbreak and 30% or more teachers being out for weeks. Kids would be fricked then, too.

According to the MSM, she did just that when she did this:

If that’s true, then what’s the point of the DOE?

Can they be repurposed to fight Marxism and preserve the scientific method on college campuses?

A Cabinet member can't eliminate a federal law. Were you stoned every day during HS government class?

Any parent that puts their faith in online school deserves the functional retard living in their basement for the next 30 years.

Hell, no. States and local school boards need to make those decisions based on their specific local situation and feedback from parents.
