I'm really confused by the left on this one. Day in and day out they say that Trumpkins will blindly follow anything Trump tells us to do. Strangely enough it's Alabama of all states that proves this not to be the case.

Completely understandable at this point, it's about ensuring Democrat Doug Jones doesn't win come December and it's very likely he won't defeat GOAT Judge Moore. Big Luther was a great candidate and supported 45's agenda since the day he assumed Jeff's seat, 45 didn't have a reason not to endorse him and probably preferred the stability since he was a one year US Senator in reality, ostensibly no connections to the Deep State since he was primarily based in Alabama accomplishing Alabama-specific objectives as AG. Just the timing couldn't have been worse for him with the Bentley investigation and perception of possible corrupt bargain for the Senate seat, fair or unfair the perception of that is. Strange lost in the court of public opinion with that and it was incredibly difficult if not impossible to overcome with the close proximity in time.

Alabama Republicans are their own special brand of religious nuttiness and dislike of anyone different from them. They exceed even Trump in their idiocy.
