That’s it! I stand corrected. Sorry OP for confusing the names of your community college.

The right answer is that little Z should have been taken out on day 1 ...

But a couple 3 letter agencies and pentagon won't allow that as their money laundering operation requires the penal piano playing clown to stay in power and the war to continue ...

Interesting take. So we've seen four takes on Russia invading Ukraine.

2014-2016, Russia invades Crimea and the U.S. stood by and Europe bought oil and natural gas from Russia--result, Russia owns Crimea

2017-2020, Russia invades no one, and Europe bought oil and natural gas from Russia--result, nonviolent uneasiness in the region

2021-2024, Russia invades Ukraine, U.S. pours a lot of money into Ukraine and Europe gives money to Ukraine, but still buys oil and natural gas from Russia--result, Ukraine doesn't know where most of the money went, a lot of dead people, and a stalemate that means more dead people

2025, Russia still in Ukraine, Ukraine asks for troops from other countries to continue stalemate. U.S. and Europe balk at sending troops, U.S. says its pulling money and asking them to seek a peace--result, not sure yet

Calling this amateur is a bold move considering that if we keep doing what we're doing it will only make us poorer, Russia will get more of Ukraine and certainly more people will die. This is at least a change.

He lied re: ending the war on Day 1 in office and his tired refrain about how it never would have happened under him is crap…his prior administration contributed millions to Ukraine and did nothing to stop the attacks on ethnic Russians in the Donbass.

Well reasoned response.

The part you did not address was the hot war that broke out in the Donbass since 2014 and intensified throughout DPR and LPR and the accretion of assaults, arrests and murders of ethnic Russians and against the Orthodox Church in not only the DPR and LPR but also in Kherson.

Trump’s State Dept did NOTHING to intervene, in fact, under Sec of State Pompeo, the Trump Admin excoriated Russia for being in Crimea and INCREASED military aid to the Azov Battalion (Neo Nazis) in Mauripol and DPR.

Interesting how the President NEVER mentions how the actions of those he appointed and thus, represented the policy of the American president, during his first time INFLAMED the fighting in the Donbass.

But we don’t have many true investigative journalists who gather all the facts to use in interviews…we have jacklegs like that clown who called out Zelensky for not wearing a suit.

God forbid that guy would have called out Zelensky for arresting and killing Orthodox Christians and seizing their churches, or why he awarded medals of valor to Neo-Nazis - as a Jew himself - for raping and killing citizens in Mauripol or for the mass kidnapping of men off the streets of Ukraine to be sent to the front to be slaughtered or why he wears a military uniform when he knowingly avoided military service by paying furloughs…

You're getting closer to understanding why this conflict continues ...

Can't wait to see the cognitive dissonance when you realize that all major US media operations are actually run by our intelligence agencies ...

Came to that realization several years ago. Add in there, the majority of media are owned by a tribe of folks who have dual allegiance to another country.

It may be time to call this administration and its first three months what it has been- a disaster. Seems they are getting border security right. Everything else has been full of missteps and self inflicted wounds. They are not competent. Accidental mailings and postings, bad confidentiality hygiene at the highest and most important level, weak/manic and disastrous tariff policy.. the list goes on.

I swear it's like no one remembers what a clusterfrick his first administration was. It was just like this, starts and stops, constant blunders, with his supporters constantly spinning and backfilling for him.

Valid response, however, it is not what the original post was all about which is why I did not address it. Your original post was about Trump being "amateur" and "incoherent" which I had a different take on.

We could look at that entire region from WWII on and the geopolitics of the Cold War up until the fall of the Eastern block from communism to Ukraine's independence and Russia's stated fear of expanding NATO. It's good to know that history. It might help shape the argument. But that would take a lot of time. Right now, the stated goal of Trump is to stop the war. I don't know if he's taking the right or wrong approach. I do know he's taking a different approach than his predecessors (which includes himself) took. We are three months in. I'm willing to give it time before I stake whether the take was right or wrong.

That’s my point…he never should have made any promises re: ending a war that he had no ability to end.

He sounds like the boy who cried wolf every time he makes such statements…the whole promises made, promises kept goes both ways.

Swamp, you’re not going to get any real discussion here. Just a bunch of grown men saying they enjoy your tears and whatever is cool and edgy. These aren’t serious people.
