Ours. Again in this particular instance. Our intelligence and military eclipse Iran’s in spades. But, in my opinion based on what we can see so far, we screwed up and bombed the wrong building. I don’t think it was intentional. These things happen and should not affect how we continue to conduct this war.

Did I read somewhere that the school was attached to the naval base? If true, is it possible the target was hit on purpose and they just didn’t know the school was connected?

It was near to it, but not a part of it. It used to be a part of it years ago, but is no longer a part of the base. In recent years they put up a wall so as to separate it and added playgrounds and shite outside.

There was a lengthy twitter thread about trying to match the picture to various cruise missiles from Israel, US, and Iran...
I don't think anyone can say for certain from that shot.
How likely is it that a cooked off missile from the base would be able to do a 180 and land nose down?

I don't allege that. I am open to the possibility of a deliberate strike on the school by the Iranians.
