But if you don't agree with him on everything you're a RINO.

He said since day one he was against this which is why that union endorsed him

He doesn’t want robots taking jobs away from port workers

What is your voting history pre Trump?

If you claim republican, what did you think of union protectionism in 2015?

Back in the 60's the South had hundreds of textile factories. When the tariffs were dropped on India, they all disappeared very quickly. Last I looked there is one still open and thriving. It is robotic. It still generates jobs to maintain it, supply it, market it and distribute its products.

It's the way to compete against cheap foreign labor.

So you don't really know. Interesting that you have the opinion that you do on certain things without knowing the history.

My angst isnt with Trump. He's a populist and will change positions depending on how populr they are. He is what he is.

Its the retards that think hes actually going to do something thats the problem. and are terrified to call it out when he's wrong. Left wing economics isnt going to solve your issues, they are how we got here in the first place.

I know plenty. You're the one claiming my position is out of line, so back up your argument.

Your ideals are closer to Democrat than Republican. You people should have taken over that party, and not created a second populist party.

AI is going to eliminate 25 to 75% of jobs in the long run.
And the rich are going to get richer with the wealth gap at historic highs. Barons and serfs to an extreme with elimination of the middle class and small business.

I am claiming you are a taught modern GOPer who has purchased the sales pitch of people like Romney and Bush and McCain in some areas.

That's not saying you are a total Romeny boot licker. That's saying you have some serious misgivings on what the GOP has been until the that crew.

Just some examples...

Collective bargaining is an obligation as well as a right, applying equally to workers and employers. signed GOP

vs

UNIONS are evil because they are against globalization and jobs being shipped out. Signed Romneyists.

Another?

We believe in tariff protection for Agriculture, Labor, and Industry, as essential to our American standard of living. Signed GOP

vs

Tariffs are evil because it restricts my money from my backers who put me in office.. Signed Romneyites, Bushies, McCainums...
