It was a very bad interview, worse than the one he gave Baier.
If it was Biden giving a similarly disastrous interview, we would have 50 threads on it.
But instead we get the usual "Still voting Trump don't care". The same people attack Dems for voting for Biden.

I don't think that's what happened in 2012 either. It is about turnout and that is in part about enthusiasm.
Voters are not enthusiastic about their current Trump alternatives. Either DeSantis will have to execute a seachange in his campaign or someone else will need to step up.
