I served in Iraq AND Afghanistan and NEITHER has such a government as posited as the reasons for our invasions of either country by George Bush in his many speeches including his New World Order speech before Congress in Nov 2003.

This 100%. I’d also argue that pushing India into an alliance with China is much more consequential, than pushing Russia into an alliance with China. Russia was already a friend of China. The Indians weren’t and there’s always been tension between those two. Not anymore it appears. A super Eurasian alliance like that can be very dangerous and threatening to the US. Militarily, economically, socially, and politically.

Putin knows how to psychologically frick with Trump and he does it on the regular..He shows up in Alaska..makes Trump think the Nobel is on the way , playing to his ego, then pulls a Lucy and yanks the football and does nothing to stop the war...He then has this big Communist PowWow in China with a show of warpower and sticks his finger in Trump's face laughing. Putin is KGB and he is a master at psychologically manipulating Trump and driving him crazy...in my opinion, he is just getting started.
I truly belive Trump wants the best for the US and the world, but Putin does not, and he has Trump dangling in the wind. He has Trump figured out from a psych perpsective.....Putin is doing what he was trained to do.
