Felt the same way when I first heard about it and I actually really like Canada and Canadians.
But they’re straight up totalitarian globalists up there now and we cannot allow 15k Chinese troops on our border IMO and will have to address it sooner rather than later.

Sometimes, I'm sure Trump is saying/doing things to force others into exposing themselves orvtovtake a position..... but, this is simply expecting our neighbor and ally to stop taking advantage of us. IMHO

I’m 100% in favor of fair trade and even tariffs if it benefits America and creates domestic jobs.
But if that’s all it was he wouldn’t be calling Trudeau a governor and talking about making them a state.
That’s not a simple trade negotiation, it’s either trolling or a threat. I suspect it’s actually both if they continue to allow the Chinese to base troops in Canada and threaten to become in effect a puppet state for them via debt slavery.

-joint training centers in 5 provinces
-13000 full time army personnel in Canada as of 2023
They tried to deny it by claiming specific things weren’t true but it’s been widely reported and proven with photo evidence.

Looking at it objectively, Carney is just doing what any incoming leader in a position of great disadvantage would do. He's doing his best to unify his people and their patriotic fervor against a perceived threat or enemy. Nothing more.
Governor Trudeau was a complete Low-T beta and pushover, and Carney has to do something to try and convince his people that he's different, or- what's the point? In the end, he's still at a resounding disadvantage and will capitulate on many huge issues, but he'll be allowed some concessions from which he will toot his horn as the victor to come out looking good from the arrangement. He's dealing with Trump. Trump wins, but Trump understands Carney is representing the people of an entire nation so he'll throw him a few bones.

The article specifically references multiple installations including one in Calgary and 15k troops stationed there in various roles.

US and Canada have fairly balanced trade except for our imports of energy.
NY, for example, gets a lot of its electric power from Canada.
There are plenty of domestic solutions to that given a sane government not eaten up with fear of climate change, CH4 and nuclear power.

No. You don't. Maybe they are and maybe they aren't. I'm supremely confident that Trump knows. The fact that there were is probably explains why Trump has been being so hard on em. If they are sucking up to China while fricking us over with trade........
