we can do hard things, sis. The print, or whatever verification you use is there to give the vote validity after the fact, so MIVs can be verified in the event of litigation. Right now, I could wipe my filthy arse with a PA mass ballot, mail it in 3 days after the election, and it will be counted. There's really no way to invalidate that ballot in court. It would also be a huge deterrent of fraud.
Wanna vote by mail? Get fingerprints on file with the USPS. Fingerprinting is already done by the USPS and the fee could be waived. USPS loses a frickload of money anyway. Its easy to leave a print on a document, and in the near future we can use digital biometrics already being used in other, extremely brown countries (so you know its not racist).
But it doesnt even have to be prints, it could be something else - but there MUST be a way to validate MIVs in the event of a court challenge after an election or else we should get rid of them altogether.

My idea would end the 'no post mark' or 'arrived any time' mail in ballot 'dump' we've seen in recent elections. Mail ins would be collected & cut off BEFORE election day, thus eliminating the 'oops! Found another' bullshite.

Isn’t that the way it used to be? Even without advanced technology. Democrats are fricking frauds with this late night crap. Many state elections literally stolen, as well.

The Constitutionalist in me says that stripping voters of their count is the "muh democracy" Democrat way, not ours. And answers flat out No.
But the American in me absolutely agrees that something MUST be done to get this crap straightened out.
