Watching it now...pretty interesting

Have you seen it?

Thoughts?

They don't paint him a great charcter guy so far through 3 episodes...

Is that the film people with a agenda or is that just Donald?

One thing for sure he's always been a salesman of his next project or of his brand

The Obamas are Netflix producers which should explain everything you need to know. I find the vast, vast majority of Netflix shows that even remotely delve in to political issues have an overly left slant.

Because it would be impossible to do such a thing. He's a very flawed man.

I've seen it and I'd say both would apply

You are being overly generous in your assessment...

I didn't realize there were "episodes" of that show. I watched a documentary by the same name on Netflix some time ago and I thought it was interesting.

It's interesting that we have a President who has lived pretty much his entire adult life in front of a camera. I doubt there has ever been a President who has been more thoroughly scrutinized than Donald Trump and through it all he comes across as clean, despite what the media and the left tries to paint him as (fraud, crook, etc).

It was interesting how they talked about when he built Trump Tower he had to deal with the mafia to get it done because they ran the concrete industry in NYC and his tower was built with concrete from the ground up. Well, apparently he knew even back then he may one day run for President because he refused to actually meet with anyone affiliated with the mob. Other people did that part of the job for him.

This thing has been a long term plan of his (potentially running for POTUS and cleaning this country up.)

I think if you've seen any of the Netflix sponsored/produced shows you would pick up on their political leanings relatively quickly.

I mean you have the Obama's running as producers with Higher Ground on Netflix which "surprising" launched their very very mediocre show American Factory (6.9 on IMDB) into Oscar nominations.

Then you have good ole Michelle Wolf keeping her great career going with her own show on Netflix. Her and Samantha Bee should get together and come up with a real dynamite production on Netflix, think it'll fit right in.

Although I doubt Bee will ever leave TBS no matter how "great" her ratings are over there. TBS may be more TDS-stricken than Netflix.

I just finished episode 3...where he and Marla break up after 3 years.

The documentary claims that he said he didn't want to be married to a woman that had given birth to children...referring to Ivana...

They have a recording of him pretending to be Trump's PR person...

That was about his divorce to Ivana.

That wasn't good...but few have had their dirty laundry aired like his...

He is also extremely successful. He is successful for many reasons. Does the Documentary cover those?

All that can be said about those two...

Sure it is. Obama was a political grifter who made his way through local Chicago politics cancelling his opponents. He had a mysterious past, took political favors for Michelle, and associated with disgusting racist people like Wright and Rezko. Yet he’s portrayed universally in the media as a golden child.

MLK was a serial philanderer. JFK was too and made deals with gangsters. LBJ was a racist pos. All revered by Americans. The message is never negative.

You can tell anyone’s story without focusing on failures and lapses in judgement. With Trump, they just choose not to.

No he isn't he went completely belly up in the 90's and only made any money back after daddy died and left him a cool 400 million starting capital.

mindbroken would be a more appropriate moniker.
1) The number was $250 million. Not $400 million.
2) The inheritance was divided among all the siblings, not given disproportionately to DJT.

Trump is worth several Billion dollars. That is at least 10-fold his father's net worth at the time of his death. He is the richest POTUS in history. With no political experience he beat a very deep slate of opponents in 2016. Begrudging that success is deranged.

You're getting a ton of down votes, but you are not wrong.
Doesn't mean he isn't a great president, though. I'd say he is no more flawed than anyone else to hold the office. But like someone else posted, the film makers chose to focus on the bad instead of a fair mix.
